Quieter day...but a busy evening!

We woke up this morning to another rainy day.  It's not stopping us though!!  We have to laugh because they keep going on about the storms that are happening around the bay...it's the kind of rain we often get in the middle of summer at home :)

This morning we tried out Hollywood Cafe for breakfast.  We love breakfasts in this country.  We had to laugh at Taylor because all she wanted was a bowl of fruit salad and one pancake....here's what she got-

She tried her hardest but obviously didn't polish it off!

I got yummy eggs benedict:

 

 

There was bacon and english muffins under that lot!

 

 

Lauren had to try out Fruit Loops, so we let her, just this once...

 



Of course she loved them...what kid wouldn't since they're pretty much only sugar.

After breakfast we were going to walk to Pier 39 but it was a liitle too wet so we headed to the Westfield Mall down town.  A bit flasher than our Westfield Malls back home...we just had to take a photo of the girls in the Bloomingdales loos...

We weren't hungry after our big breakfast but as we went past a make your own frozen yoghurt shop, the girls just couldn't help themselves.

Bry went crazy in the Vans store and then we headed back to the Motor Inn for a much needed rest because we had a big night ahead!!!

Mum and I took this time to head to the laundromat to do several loads of washing and drying.

Once we got back, we were off to.......



The Lion King!!!





 



Mum and the girls had no idea we were going....Bry and I had bought tickets as a Christmas gift.  It was absolutely amazing.  The girls just loved it and were fizzing all the way home.

 

 

 



It was a lovely evening out.  Off to bed now as we have an early morning tomorrow- we're off to Alcatraz!!
