Can we move to Laguna Beach?

Before we left home, I got in touch with a pre-school over here in Carlsbad that follows the Reggio Emelia approach that we do at Rolleston.  I had organised for us to visit them and see what they do.  So we set off this morning and drove the 60 minute drive back down towards San Diego.  It was so worth the effort.

We were welcomed and then shown around by one of the directors.  What an incredible place to visit.  I took heaps of photos and had a really good look around.  The girls had a great time looking at everything, and then playing with the children.  Even Bry was very impressed with what they do.  I won't bore you with all the photos, but I just have to include this one of one of the pieces of play ground equipment.

We were there for about 1 1/2 hours!

After we left the school, we decided to head back to Anaheim via Highway1.  We drove up the gorgeous coast line and decided to stop in Laguna Beach.  What a stunning place.  We decided we could quite happily move there!  We stopped for quite a while and the girls had a good run around on the beach.

We had a good look around the shops and then continued up the coast, through Newport Beach.  By now it was getting dark so we headed back to Hojos, stopping to buy some new shoes (Vans and runners) for me.

Tomorrow we are heading to Universal Studios for the day.
