We didn't really have a lot planned for today...just thought we might head off for a drive, maybe to Long Beach and surrounds.
We ended up at a yummy Middle Eastern Cafe for lunch....Kafe Neo. Very yummy and a nice change from all that we had been eating. After eating we drove around Long Beach and thought we would go and have a look at the Queen Mary, the decommissioned ship that lives in the harbour and serves as a hotel as well as a museum. Right beside it was the Scorpion, a Russian submarine.
Mum and I decided we would go and have a look at the Princess Diana exhibit, while Bry took the girls to the submarine.
It was so lovely looking through. It wasn’t just about Princess Diana, there
was something about many members of the Royal Family. There were also several of the dresses that
Princess Diana actually wore.
Interesting to see the detail.

We had a look around the ship and then meet up with Bry and the girls.
It was getting dark by now so we headed back to
Anaheim.
Driving through Long Beach |
Not a great photo but loved the bike stands |
Tonight we wanted to make it to
see the Disneyland fireworks. They were
fabulous, complete with a wonderful story and Tinkerbell flying through the
sky. Awesome. We made it on to Splash Mountain twice in a
row…so much fun in the dark. Being a
Friday night of a long weekend, the park was certainly a lot busier than it had
been on any previous visit.
Tomorrow…our last full day ;(
