We had been told by some people and had also read reviews saying that once your child is past 8, Legoland won't hold any interest for them. But because it was included on our Go San Diego card we bought, we decided to go any way. We are SO pleased we did. We had such a grat day.
The lego constructions are amazing; the rides, although relatively tame, kept the girls screaming and laughing, and the weather and the small crowd just topped off a great day. It was really hard to choose what pics to add, so here are a small collection....

It really was a lot of fun.
When we had finished we drove the 30 minutes back into town and headed for the Gaslamp Quarter.

We had a bit of a look around, decided to go the The Hard Rock Cafe for dinner (the girls begged and pleaded) and then headed back to pack up our bags for the second last time...dreading doing so next time (how are we going to fit everything in????)
Tomorrow-our last stop, Anaheim and DISNEYLAND
