Our first stop was The Grove and The Farmer's Market. We stopped in at The American Doll shop...what an eyeopener...All these dolls worth $110 each, and then all kinds of accessories and outfits to go with them. Bry couldn't believe that there was a cafe where you could have a tea-party with your friends and dolls, and a photo studio where you could get a make over and a photo with your doll. Mum was shocked at the little girls who were having a fortune spent on them.
We then had a look around the Farmer's Market. It was a lot of fun.

We had a look at some of the stars on the sidewalk (sorry Dad, no-one could tell us where your star was) and then had a look at the footprints outside Graumans theatre.

For you, Sonya |
We then walked over to Madame Tussauds where we had a lot of fun....we 'met' so many famous people.
We didn't hang around too long once we were finished in Madame Tussuad's...the girls didn't really like it.
We headed off towards Santa Monica along Sunset Boulevard. We had a quick detour along Rodeo Drive, but didn't stop.
We drove past The Beverly Hilton, where the Golden Globes were being held AT THAT VERY MOMENT!! It was fascinating to see the paparazzi and the security.
By the time we got to Santa Monica it was starting to get dark and cold. However, we braved the wind and headed to the end of the pier.

It was here we met a star...someone famous......Gray Bartlett!! Hilarious!! We came all the way to LA hoping we might see someone, and we see a Kiwi Country and Western singer. So funny. He was lovely though.
It was getting quite dark, but we still got a picture of the Baywatch Babes...
We had a yummy dinner at Buddha Belly.
and we drove back to Hojos, just in time to see the Disney fireworks.
