Mountainbiking and swimming

Today was the day Bry had booked a mountainbike ride with Amy from McGhies.  She arrived at 8.30 to pick him up.

While he was away, the girls decided to go for another swim.  Remember , it's the middle of winter here and about 8 degrees outside at 9am.  That didn't stop them.

It doesn't look cold, but I was rather chilly.

When I had had enough of sitting in the cold, they got out and us 4 girls went shopping for the morning.  Bry rang about 1pm to say he was back, so we went back to pick him up.  He had had an amazing time.  He said the tracks were great, plenty of rocks, burros, yucca trees and one Joshua tree that jumped out in front of him (yeah, right!) and made him fall off.  Luckily the 'brand new Trek Superfly 29er demo bike' survived.  He said Amy was amazing.

One of many Joshua Trees...this one didn't move

We spent the rest of the day looking at shops on the outskirts of Vegas.

Coming up tomorrow...our last full day in Las Vegas.
